CEO, Eric Robertson, Th.D., Ed.D.

As the Rome Transition Academy/Central Office Program Administrator and former Head Administrator of the Wolfpack Academy (WPA K-5th), Rome Transitional Academy (RTA 6th-12th) and Phoenix Performance Learning Center (PLC 11th-12th) of Rome City Schools, Dr. Eric Robertson realized the great responsibility that he has to inform, inspire, and motivate all stakeholders through the lens of “Changing the Narrative: One Student at a Time!” Dr. Rob is a native of South Carolina, who’s been married to Linda for 21 years with 4 children, Aaralyn, Aaria, Arie, and Aariel. Dr. Rob served in the United States Marine Corps for 8 years. While in the USMC, he earned two degrees, an Associate of Arts in General Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Communications. After completing his duty in the military, he earned his Master of Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment; Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership, and Doctoral of Education in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Special Education Leadership. While in college, he became a Brother of Phi Beta Sigma Sigma Chapter. Dr. Rob’s educational experiences include over two decades at various levels: Primary, Elementary, Middle, High, Alternative School, and College; Dr. Rob also served as a former Assistant Principal, Mathematics Department Chair, Special Education Department Co-Chair, Special Education Instructional Coach, GED Instructor, and Faith-Based Liaison. He has also provided professional learning and development in the areas of Mathematics Specialized Instruction and Implementation of Instructional Strategies through various technology platforms across the curriculum at the district level. He has also written instructional plans and developed activities coupled with resources to help teachers close the achievement gaps for students, especially those that were at-risk of dropping out of the school system. In addition, Dr. Rob is the founder/director of the “iFOCUS Mentoring Program” that consisted of 100 Community Mentors that were guided by Dr. Rob’s written school-community curriculums/workbooks focusing on building relationships, increasing achievement, and parenting involvement. Dr. Rob's ultimate goal is to release power to empower all stakeholders in the school community to ensure that all students graduate prepared for college or work. As for his religious credential, Bishop Rob earned his Seminary Degree in Biblical Studies; Master of Divinity in Theology and Doctoral of Theology in Christian Leadership which equipped him for ministry. Bishop served as a Pastor for a decade and Coadjutor Bishop under the Seasons of Change Fellowship Ministries. He’s the Senior Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church of Cedartown, Georgia. Lastly, Dr. Rob’s passion is building positive relationships with all churches and all schools within the community to ensure unity.
